I and lab members are involved in a variety of outreach projects.  In the Museum, we give tours to school groups and work with the Education Section to develop programs for K - 12 students.  We also contribute to a variety of programs in the museum.  For example, we have give public presentations on Butterfly Gardening, Bee Gardening, and an Introduction to Pollination Biology.

GAMES (Girls at the Museum Exploring Science).  This program brings 2nd and 3rd grade girls into the Museum to meet and work with women involved in Museum research and management.

Bees' Needs.  This project involves Citizen Scientists in documenting the occurrence and population dynamics of native bees.  This project is spearheaded by Alex Rose and Virginia Scott.  If you would like to get involved, please click here.
